Halswell House offers you a unique way to afford your dream wedding. You need pay no fee for the venue, all we ask is that you guarantee that you can ensure full occupancy for all our bedrooms and in this way we can offer you all the function rooms free of charge.
Whilst Halswell is a premier wedding location worthy of a high venue fee we have devised a payment structure to allow you the maximum flexibility to design your own costs to suit your budget. You may choose to pay a single venue and accommodation fee, allowing you to allocate the rooms to your guests as you desire at no charge to them, or you may wish us to charge your guests either in full or part for their rooms.

From the Spring of 2008 we can offer you the choice of an all-inclusive venue and accommodation rate; or for mid-weeks venue free rate if your guests purchase all our bedroom suites.*

† Thursday to Sunday rates include all function rooms, marriage ceremony room, and 12 bedrooms‡
* Standard conditions apply for Monday to Wednesday plus a minimum of 20 bedrooms must be taken. Deposit for these days is £500.
‡ Bedrooms come with:
- Continental Buffet Breakfast.
- All rooms come supplied with tea and coffee making facilities.
- All rooms are equipped with hair dryers and luxury dressing gowns.
Please Note:
- Bank Holidays are charged at the Saturday rate.
- Christmas and New Year are at a special rate - please call.
- Your booking starts at 12 midday and room check out is 10:30am
- *Additional consecutive nights attract a 30% discount in Early Season.
- *Additional consecutive nights attract a 20% discount in Mid Season.
- *Additional consecutive nights attract a 10% discount in Late Season.
- Corkage is £15.00 per head.

General Information
- Your event can be held on any day of the week and at any time of day subject to prior arrangement.
- There is a 20% non-refundable deposit on any booking.
- Final payment and confirmation of your arrangements are required two months before the event is held.
- There will be seasonal floral decorations throughout the house.
- You will be given your own wedding coordinator to help plan and coordinate your day.
Capacity
Halswell accommodates up to 90 seated guests in the Dining Hall with the option of adding additional rooms to increase these numbers to 170.
12 suites and bedrooms are included. Additional bedrooms are available if required or self contained cottages within the grounds of Halswell Park. Please call Becky on: 0845 204 1066 to discuss.
Additional configurations are possible by utilising wedding pavilions by the lake for dining.
Civil Marriage Ceremonies
Civil marriage ceremonies can be held in the Morning Room which seats 60 guests or the Dining Hall which seats up to 120 guests.
