Evening Reception
The evening reception is a popular addition to the wedding ceremony and breakfast that may appeal to both you and your guests.
Evening Guests
In the evening your additional guests may join your celebration up to a maximum venue size of 250 guests [if you are using the wedding pavilions by the lake this number can be exceeded with the agreement of your wedding coordinator].
Entertainment
Because of the many forms of entertainment on offer it can be a difficult choice. We can recommend musicians, bands, discos to suit any taste. Please contact us to discuss this. Alternatively if you have a specific requirement we will need to discuss it with you prior to booking the venue.
Please note that evening entertainment must finish by 12.00am (11pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays)
Evening Buffet Menu
Your menu options for the evening buffet will be discussed with you when you plan your reception. All produce used on the Halswell Estate is organic and is sourced locally, where possible.
Dedicated Bar
A dedicated bar will be available in the first floor Chintz Room for wedding guests from 7.30pm. Last orders are 11.30pm, bar closes at 12.00am, (Sundays and Bank Holidays – 10.30pm last orders, 11.00pm close).
Finish
Apart from Exclusive Use bookings [entire estate booked], the reception and music must finish no later than 12.00am and non-residents are required to depart.
